Privacy policy

What we collect

When you submit the "Start free" form, we collect the restaurant or place name and a phone number. We use them to contact you, to set up and support your menu, and to keep you informed about the service and related offers. We do not sell your personal information; we share it only with providers and partners who help us operate, improve and promote the service.

When you later send us a menu (photos or files) to digitise, we use that material to build and maintain your restaurant's digital menu and as described in our terms of service.

Menu content and service data

Menus published through QRmenu are public by design. The service also generates technical and usage information, such as page views and QR scans. We may use published menu content and usage information — including in aggregated or de-identified form — to operate, analyse, improve and promote the service, to develop new features, and to support service announcements and sponsored content shown within the service. Aggregated or de-identified data does not identify you or your guests.

Cookies

qrmenu.am currently sets a small number of functional cookies: qrmenu-locale remembers which language of the site you viewed, and qrmenu-locale-suggest briefly remembers whether to suggest the Armenian version. When Meta advertising measurement is enabled, Meta Pixel loads only after you allow advertising cookies. Meta may then use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed using Ad cookie settings.

Analytics

We use DataFast and Know, privacy-focused analytics services, to count page views and understand which pages are useful. Phone numbers are never sent to analytics.

With your advertising-cookie consent, Meta receives browser and device information, page visits, Messenger-link clicks and successful lead-form events to measure our Facebook ads. We do not pass your phone number, restaurant name or menu photos in these events. A Messenger click is not a confirmed message. Meta processes this information under its Privacy Policy.

Data retention and deletion

Lead-form submissions are kept for as long as needed to set up, support and develop the service. To have your details corrected or deleted, contact us via the contact page and we will act on your request in line with applicable law.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
